when the call comes, you won’t rise to the occasion
setting expectations up front
Before you book your 30 min qualifying call, know this - we respect your experience, expertise, and desire to train. And this - being an ADB instructor comes with high standards and real commitments. Review the following expectations carefully. If you’re not all in, don’t move forward.
you’ll rise to your training
AVAILABILITY
COMMITTED TO presence and consistency
As an ADB instructor, your presence is key to making an impact. Instructors must be proven subject matter experts and commit to training at least six times a year, with options for more frequent sessions depending on availability. All in-person trainings span a minimum of 2–3 days, and once scheduled, your commitment is final. ADB coordinates around your availability to prevent conflicts. In addition to teaching, instructors are expected to attend two leadership weekends and three major annual events—fully covered by ADB—where top professionals gather to grow and serve. If you're here to lead, showing up matters.
We unite elite instructors, proven methods, and a relentless commitment to restoring pride, excellence, and mastery to law enforcement.
PERSONAL INVESTMENT
the relentless pursuit of mastery
At ADB, we don’t just train officers—we develop leaders committed to growth, mastery, and coachability. As an instructor, you’re expected to pursue excellence not out of obligation, but because it defines who you are. That means continually investing in your own development, embracing support to improve your training delivery, and showing up for every leadership and instructor growth opportunity. Growth isn’t optional here—it’s the standard. If you’re not obsessed with getting better, this isn’t the place for you.

BUSINESS
a professional agreement with professional standards
As an ADB instructor, you operate as an independent contractor under a professional agreement that clearly outlines our mutual responsibilities. This is more than a teaching role—it’s a serious business partnership. Qualified instructors receive exceptional support, including performance coaching, course marketing, personal branding, speaking opportunities, and production help for online training assets. This relationship includes exclusivity for both your ADB training and any co-created content. In return, we’re committed to amplifying your impact and expanding your opportunities beyond the classroom. We honor our commitments—and expect the same from you.

QUALITY
excellence is not the destination; it’s the standard
At ADB, quality is non-negotiable—every instructor is expected to deliver excellence, every time. To uphold this standard, all instructors undergo ongoing quality reviews to ensure our training stays elite, compliant, and accreditation-ready while truly elevating officer performance. Instructors must also attend regular virtual Q&A and policy calls to stay current on expectations, updates, and best practices. If you’re not fully committed to excellence, this isn’t the place for you.

In return, we expect unwavering integrity to our values, our team, and the communities we serve. This isn’t a transaction—it’s a family. If you're in, you're all in. IMPACT BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
serve. lead. build a legacy
Being an ADB instructor goes beyond the classroom—it's about consistently showing up for the profession. Inside ADBNation, our private online community, instructors serve as trusted experts, mentors, and leaders, engaging with thousands of officers across the country. This is where you share knowledge, host virtual sessions, answer questions, and help others grow. In return, you build your own brand, authority, and lasting professional relationships. When you lead at this level, your influence extends far beyond training—you become a trusted figure officers turn to long after class ends. Showing up isn’t just a duty—it’s an honor.
